The International Random Film Festival celebrates randomness in cinema. Out of the submissions 25 films are selected randomly to compete each year. The festival is organised annually in a randomly selected location, on a random opening date. Awards are given out randomly.

The IRFF has been organised so far 5 times, since 2011, respecting the rules of randomess mentioned above.

The 6th edition of the festival will be arranged in 2017. After succesfully (and luckily) having an European location for all the previous festival editions, the team is facing a big challenge, as the location of the 6th IRFF should be Al-Hofuf, Saudi Arabia. Rules will be bent, but for sure it’ll still be 100% random.
