Synopsis: The short documentary ‘Now!’ (1965) by Santiago Alvarez shows the struggles for civil rights of black citizens in the US. It documented a revolutionary movement, which started with one specific desire: the equality of all human beings. It inspired a generation, and was an essential influence for the revolts in 1968. Today the amount of pictures depicting the ultima ratio of governmental power is increasing once again.
