Bór Zapilski


Making of Bór Zapilski, the 2011 edition.

In 2011 the IRFF was held in the village of Bór Zapilski, Poland, 8-11th July 2011, a village with less than 300 inhabitans. During the 4 days of the festival we had 8 screenings, and gathered 670 spectators all together in Bór Zapilski and in the rerun screenings in Katowice, Poland.

Bór Zapilski is a tiny Polish village situated in Silesia, Southern Poland. We will screen the 25 films in the International Competition in open air and at the local screening space in the Bór Zapilski School. The Closing Ceremony and the programme reruns will be held in Katowice. How to get there?

19:00 International Random Film Festival Closing Ceremony

(doors open at 18:00. NOTE: Smoking/Tenue de Soiree/Tuxedo/Dress suit required)

Located in the centre of Katowice, (really close to the railway station), you will find Rialto Cinema, and old film theatre built in 1913. At this beautiful venue we will host the Closing Ceremony for The International Random Film Festival 2011.
